Captured - A Mixed Media Layout

I had so much fun making this mixed media scrapbook page!

I used the 7 Dots Studio Lost and Found collection by DeeDee Catron.  What a fab collection of beautiful designs and colors, perfect for mixed media work!

 Below is what the background looked like before I piled on the layers.  I first adhered a bunch of crumpled and torn doilies.  Then I used a palette knife to apply a layer of gesso followed by some modeling paste through a stencil.

Next came the really fun part of applying lots of fab color!  You just cannot go wrong with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.  I'm certifiably addicted to them! After the color, I stamped here and there with a couple of background stamps, and it was finished.
