Hello Love - My Creative Scrapbook

Hi friends!  Today I have another layout to share that I made using the February Main kit from My Creative Scrapbook!  

This background was a lot of fun to create with mixed media products from my stash.  After applying a layer of clear gesso, I embossed some hearts onto the cardstock using a Heidi Swapp heart stencil and Lindy's Stamp Gang gold embossing powder.  

Once dry, I used the packaging technique to apply Lindy's Stamp Gang mists (Cotton Candy Pink and Raspberry Lemonade).  When that was dry I came back in with splatters of more Raspberry Lemonade plus Hibiscus Rose.  Love all of those pinks!  I finished the background off with a few splatters of black.

I left the wood veneer pieces raw this time.  I think they pop more against this background that way.

It's February kit reveal time at My Creative Scrapbook!  The Main kit features the beautiful We R Memory Keepers Crush collection!  The papers in this line are so pretty.  The kit includes tons of coordinating embellishments including ephemera pieces and adorable metal clips.  Also included are a pack of Crate Paper wood veneer pieces and pretty Prima flowers!

Here's one of the layouts that I made with the kit:

I love this photo of my daughter with her wonderful friend...it warms my heart!

I used two shades of gelatos to color the wood veneer piece.  Then I embossed the top portion with gold embossing powder.  I love the outcome!

You are My Sun... My Creative Scrapbook

Hey friends! I have another layout to share today that I made using the November Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook.  The kit has a lovely combination of products from Prima Marketing, Blue Fern Studios, and We R Memory Keepers.

The background paper is from the Prima Royal Menagerie collection.  I added a bit of yellow to it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang spray that I had in my stash.  Then I applied some super heavy gesso through the Prima stencil that came in the kit. I finished the background by flicking on a tiny bit of my blue Lindy's spray.

I fussy cut the butterflies and tags from the We R Memory Keepers Wildflower collection papers.  I popped up the butterfly wings with some foam squares.

There are lots of gorgeous Prima flowers in this kit!  I clustered a variety of them around my photo.

I cut the We R Memory Keepers Wildflower collection "You are my sun my moon and all my stars" sticker into three pieces and adhered them to the page.

We R Memory Keepers GDT Projects

Hello everyone.  I was so honored to be featured on the We R Memory Keepers facebook page the other day!

I was sent some of the adorable Baby Mine collection to create with, and here is what I came up with:

The colors and patterns of Baby Mine are so cheerful and cute!  I found that the collection worked wonderfully for my toddler despite its baby theme.

This super cute Baby Mine journaling prompt made it really simple to record some of the things that I love about my daughter.

I used my punches to create a few simple coordinating flowers to add to the page.

I thought this onesie tag would be a really cute focal point for a card so I adhered it onto layered papers with foam tape and then finished the card off with a polka dot bow.
