Smile - My Creative Scrapbook

I'm excited to share this layout that I made using the Crate Paper Bloom collection featured in the My Creative Scrapbook kit club main kit this month along with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays from my stash.

I had loads of fun layering up my background with gesso, modeling paste, sprays, and stamps! I ended up covering most of it up with paper layers and embellishments, but that is okay! It was very enjoyable to make, and I'm happy with the outcome.

Isn't the color combination gorgeous in this month's Lindy's Stamp Gang color challenge?! I'm in love with Lindy's sprays and used several on my layout:

Loving This - My Creative Scrapbook

The Main Kit from My Creative Scrapbook features the gorgeous Crate Paper Bloom collection!

Oh did I have fun making this layout with the kit! I drew inspiration from the beautiful pinks in the kit, and went a bit crazy adding even more shades of pink using Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays from my stash.

I also added some random stamping to the background with stamps from Viva Las Vegastamps.

Captured - A Mixed Media Layout

I had so much fun making this mixed media scrapbook page!

I used the 7 Dots Studio Lost and Found collection by DeeDee Catron. What a fab collection of beautiful designs and colors, perfect for mixed media work!

Below is what the background looked like before I piled on the layers. I first adhered a bunch of crumpled and torn doilies. Then I used a palette knife to apply a layer of gesso followed by some modeling paste through a stencil.

Next came the really fun part of applying lots of fab color! You just cannot go wrong with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays. I'm certifiably addicted to them! After the color, I stamped here and there with a couple of background stamps, and it was finished.
