Friends - My Creative Scrapbook

Hi blog friends! Today I'm sharing my third layout made with the My Creative Scrapbook November Limited Edition Kit featuring the stunning Blue Fern Studios Mémoires collection.

 Aren't these flowers gorgeous?  The brown and green ones are Blue Fern, and the large metallic ones are Prima.  They have all been treated with some dabs of white gesso.

The gorgeous Blue Fern chipboard piece and the American Crafts wood veneer butterflies have been heat embossed with powder from Lindy's Stamp Gang and then dabbed with some white gesso.

I used a raspberry colored spray to color the DIY letter thickers and when dry, dabbed some white gesso to tie everything together.

Happy - My Creative Scrapbook

Hi blog friends! I'm back with another layout made with the My Creative Scrapbook November Limited Edition Kit featuring the absolutely gorgeous Blue Fern Studios Mémoires collection.

This Blue Fern Studios background paper is beautifully detailed as-is, so I didn't want to cover any of it up!  Therefore I only added some subtle color and texture in the center of the paper, using modeling past through a Prima stencil followed by some Lindy's Stamp Gang and Heidi Swapp sprays.

I heat embossed the chipboard and wood veneer pieces with embossing powder.  I used gold for the birdcage and bird pieces, and used pink for the butterflies.

These beautiful flowers are all Blue Fern.  I dabbed everything with a bit of white gesso to soften things up.

Your Thoughts are Sweet - My Creative Scrapbook

I'm here today with my first layout with the November Limited Edition Kit from My Creative Scrapbook.  This is one of the best kits yet!  I know, I know, I almost always say that.  But really, just when I think I've seen my favorite, Pam outdoes herself yet again.

This month's kit features products from one of my most favorite manufacturers, Blue Fern Studios.  Oh how I love their elegant patterned papers, chipboard, and flowers!  Their new Memoires collection is just gorgeous!

After a layer of clear gesso, I applied modeling paste through a Prima stencil.  When dry, I applied shades of orange, yellow and gold onto the background with Lindy's Stamp Gang and Heidi Swapp sprays.

I cut the doily chipboard into two pieces and heat embossed them in gold.

I colored the Thicker letters by dabbing them into some mist and then randomly sponging some white gesso on top.

The wooden butterfly embellishments were heat embossed and then painted randomly with the same mist that was used for the letter stickers.  To complete the layout, I used a sponge to dab some white gesso here and there onto the embellishments.
