Creative Heart - My Creative Scrapbook

Hi blog friends! I have another layout to share today that I created for My Creative Scrapbook kit club using the gorgeous October Limited Edition kit.

I'm in love with the 49 and Market Heirloom Botanicals collection that's featured in the kit!  The Bo Bunny papers that are mixed in coordinate beautifully, and the Prima flowers are just perfect.

My favorite part of my creative process is using color to customize my background.  Here I've used a few different colors of mist to tie together the colors in the papers and embellishments.  I finished the page off with drops of white mist to lighten everything up.

In the Dirt - My Creative Scrapbook

I've been creating with the upcoming October Limited Edition kit from My Creative Scrapbook kit club.  It has got to be one of my favorite kits yet... every piece is totally gorgeous.  The 49 and Market Heirloom Botanicals papers are fabulous.  Wait until you see all of the pretty Prima embellishments in the kit.

Today is sneak peek day, and I get to share one of my layouts!

The title of this layout is In the Dirt.  I kind of love that my girly girl isn't afraid to get dirty.  Here she is plopped down in some dirt that she proceeded to dig in with her bare hands.

I started with a piece of 49 and Market paper.  I wanted the layout to look a bit grungy although still feminine, so I put down some drywall tape and covered most of it with gesso.  Next I layered on more papers, some fussy cut elements, a Prima pearl flourish, and Prima flowers.  The stickers are Bo Bunny and American Crafts, all included in the kit.  I finished the layout off with some flicks of Lindy's Stamp Gang mists as well as some black acrylic paint.

Gaining Confidence - My Creative Scrapbook

I'm back today with my second scrapbook layout made with My Creative Scrapbook kit club's September Limited Edition kit.  I just love the Rossibelle collection from Prima Marketing that's featured in the kit. The colors are just gorgeous!

For the background, I used some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, stamps from Viva LasVegastamps, and a Prima stencil from my stash. There is something therapeutic about dabbling in mixed media :)

My Creative Scrapbook September Sneak Peeks

It has been a few months since I've had any time to scrap but I'm thrilled to be back at it again. It's sneak peek time at My Creative Scrapbook kit club and I get to share one of my layouts today! I worked with the Limited Edition kit, and wow, the kit is totally gorgeous!

The Prima Rossi Belle collection is featured in this kit! There are lots of gorgeous Rossi Belle papers, flowers, chipboard pieces, stickers, and sequins included.  Also packed into this kit is a bottle of gold Heidi Swapp color shine, beautiful script Thickers, organza ribbon, and pearl trim!

I also used some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, stamps from Viva LasVegastamps, a Prima stencil, and some gold microbeads from my stash.
