Simply Wonderful *Momenta*
Hi friends! I have a layout to share that was on the Momenta blog earlier this weekend.
Some of my most favorite Momenta products are the wonderful pyramid paper pads. I've used paper from three different pyramid pads on this layout, yet they all coordinate so nicely.
I took this photo of my daughter on her second birthday just before her party was about to start. She was so excited about friends coming over and was just as happy as can be.
I love to layer. A technique that I love to use is to tuck some embellishments under and some over the photo. Doing so creates lots of nice dimension and texture to the page. A little chalk ink around the edges of the papers also goes a long way for creating dimension.
I love to tuck little messages like this "live laugh love" sticker into my flower clusters. I first adhered this sticker to a scrap piece of cardstock and then trimmed around it before adhering it to my page.
Thank you for stopping by today. I truly appreciate it!

A Special Visit - MLS Mini Album
Hello!
Allison's granny recently came for a visit from out of town. I wanted to have a mini album already made and ready to fill with photos and journaling so that I could send it home with her as a sweet souvenir. The album needed to be fairly simple and not bulky so that it could fit into her carry-on bag and hopefully not get too smashed. This is what I came up with using raw chipboard sheets and some really pretty My Little Shoebox goodies.
All of the patterned paper, cardstock stickers, letter stickers, and flower diecuts are from My Little Shoebox's new Lovely Day collection. It's such a wonderful line for Spring. The self-adhesive pearls that I used as flower centers are from Kaisercraft.
I'm really glad I made this album ahead of time... it took away the pressure of hurrying to create one after the fact.

Momenta/Purple Cows: Cross-Promo + Prize!
Hi friends! Momenta and Purple Cows are engaged in a super fun cross-promotion this week.
For my first card, I used patterned cardstock from Momenta's Family Affair 5x7 cardstock pad and embellishments from their Forever Family sticker kit. I love the timeless, elegant designs in these collections.
Isn't that a fun background? To create it, I used the Purple Cows Punch It tool (Summer) around the perimeter of a 4.4 inch piece of maroon patterned cardstock. I loved how easy it was to create such an intricate background... just line the paper up against the paper guides on the Punch It tool, and punch away.
I adhered a Momenta vellum sentiment sticker from the Story of Us collection to a piece of white cardstock and layered it with a sticker, a die cut, more patterned cardstock, sticker gems, and liquid pearls.
My second card features Momenta's Forever Family 5x7 cardstock pad, stickers, and puffy border.
I used the Purple Cows Pin It tool to nestle a shiny silver butterfly pin embellishment near the right edge the card front. The tool was a breeze to use, and I love the extra interest that the metal butterflies add.
The Forever Family sticker kit includes these wonderful dimensional, glittered cardstock stickers. Simply peel and stick for a beautiful embellishment cluster.
Card three features the Family Affair 5x7 cardstock pad as well as some clear layered stickers from the Emily's Garden collection.
I used the Purple Cows Pin It tool again for this one to adhere that pretty double heart metal pin embellishment to the card front.
This is the set of cards that I created for the event featuring both companies' products.

Eyelet Outlet Projects
Hi friends! Today I have three new projects to share featuring some fun brads from Eyelet Outlet.
I made this simple treat container by creating a 3x3x2 inch box bottom, placing a lollipop-filled cello bag inside of the box, and sealing with a ribbon-tied bag topper.
This is a 4x4x1 inch pizza box! It's the perfect size to hold a gift card (or a piece of jewelry, etc.) I used this tutorial to make the box.
Another pretty little mermaid adorns this matching card. I left it sentiment-free so that I could use the set for any occasion.
For the next card, I used two sweet little pastel winking owl brads and a pink pearl brad as flower centers along with more papers from My Mind's Eye. The vellum sentiment sticker is from Momenta.
Next is this little purse which I made with ice cream brads with the idea of using as it holder for a gift card to the ice cream shop. The paper is from Pebbles and the vellum sentiment sticker is from Momenta.

More Swoon
Hi friends! A quick post today to share this wedding card...
The patterned paper, sentiment sticker, paper flowers, jewel, and pearl are all from the Swoon collection by Little Yellow Bicycle.
With the help of an embossing folder, a couple of metal dies, a border punch, satin ribbon, and Stickles, this card came together in no time.
I love the sophistication of Swoon! You can view the entire collection here.

Swoon!
Wow, several days have flown by since I last blogged. We've had busy times here lately with Allison's 2nd birthday, a wonderful visit from my mother-in-law, and all of the day to day activities that have been taking place.
I still managed to sneak in some crafting time although I can't share most of what I've made just yet. This weekend I had the chance to create with the new Swoon collection from Little Yellow Bicycle. Have you seen it yet? It's so gorgeous and sophisticated.
I waited almost 7 years to scrap this wedding photo! I'm really picky about the papers that I use for my pages, and I hadn't found the right ones to use for this photo until I recently got my hands on Swoon. The collection looks beautiful online... but in person... woooooooooooooooooow... perfectly gorgeous!
I LOVE the paper flower kit which I used several pieces of along with some pretty cardstock stickers.
The self-adhesive jewels and pearls made it so easy to dress the flowers up, and I love that so many of them come in the package.
I have more Swoon stuff to share in my next posts :)
