Hello!
While organizing some files on my computer tonight, I came across a project that I don't think I ever posted.
These are gift card holders made entirely from Little Yellow Bicycle's gorgeous Swoon collection along with some miscellaneous ribbon.
I got the idea for these from a gift card purse that my daughter received a couple months ago. After she opened it, I thought to myself, "I could make these", so I set it aside for inspiration for later.
So when I received some of LYB's Swoon (thank you, Liz!) I knew I wanted
to use some of it to make these little purses for some friends'
upcoming weddings.
I carefully took apart my daughter's premade gift card purse and drew a template for myself to trace onto the Swoon paper. I have to admit that the process of creating the template took me quite a long time as this sort of thing doesn't really come natural to me... and, thinking back, I'm sure there are cutting files for electronic die cutting machines that would make creating these a total breeze... that being said, I did it by hand, and once I finally got the template right and figured out where exactly to score/fold the paper at, these came together pretty quickly.
The above shows how the purse looks when the ribbon is untied and the purse is allowed to fall open. The gift card will go into that opening in the center. I'm excited to use these for wedding gifts this summer :)

Momenta Card + Chance to Win $50
Hi friends! Here is a card that I created for the Momenta blog this week.
I used a couple of Momenta's 5x7 cardstock pads... the black and white patterned cardstock is from the Story of Us pad, and the yellow and blues are from the Family Affair pad. I really like this color combination!
The flower is one of Momenta's wonderful clear layered stickers. This is my favorite Momenta embellishment.
Now, would you like some chances at winning $50?! Momenta has two very short surveys this month... each takes only a couple of minutes to complete, and each comes with a chance to win $50. The winners will be chosen on 4/30.
1) Where do you find your INSPIRATION?
Pinterest, Facebook, magazines..or your friends? Tell us how you get inspired and you could win $50 cash! https://www.surveymonkey.com/ s/inspire_apr2012
2) Do you Stamp? Or would like to?
Then we want to hear from you....We've got a few very short questions about where you buy your stamps!

We R Memory Keepers GDT Projects
Hello everyone. I was so honored to be featured on the We R Memory Keepers facebook page the other day!
I was sent some of the adorable Baby Mine collection to create with, and here is what I came up with:
The colors and patterns of Baby Mine are so cheerful and cute! I found that the collection worked wonderfully for my toddler despite its baby theme.
This super cute Baby Mine journaling prompt made it really simple to record some of the things that I love about my daughter.
I used my punches to create a few simple coordinating flowers to add to the page.
I thought this onesie tag would be a really cute focal point for a card so I adhered it onto layered papers with foam tape and then finished the card off with a polka dot bow.
If you feel like heading over to the We R facebook page and leaving some love on my Baby Mine layout (posted on April 20th) I'd sure be grateful :) Thanks!

These are my final projects as a member of the design team, as my term has come to an end. Thank you so very much for an amazing year. I will forever cherish this experience and the lasting friendships that I have gained along the way. I wish the very best to Helen and her new team.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend :)

My Creative Scrapbook!
I never would have imagined when I stumbled upon My Creative Scrapbook kit club about four years ago that I would someday have the opportunity to design for the best of the best.
I started out as a lurker, but quickly became a subscriber, and the 20 or so gorgeous kits that I received in the coming months were by far some of the best scrappy packages ever! The inspiration that I gained from the design team along the way played a huge part in my creative growth.
I about fell out of my chair last Fall when I was invited to guest design for December and then again for February... it was an amazing experience. Little did I know that it was a taste of what was to come.
I have been bursting at the seams to shout that the someday is now.
Yes! Pam has invited me to join her My Creative Scrapbook family, and I can finally shout it! This is really huge for me. She is trusting me to help promote her cream of the crop kit club. What an incredible honor (and confidence boost)! I couldn't be happier about it and can't wait to get started.
Thank you, my wonderful blog friends, for letting me share this story.
This happens to coincide with reveal day at My Creative Scrapbook! Have a look at the scrumptious April kits!
Grab your diet coke (or coffee if that's your thing) and check out the design team gallery for a massive amount of eye candy using these kits.
Also, have you had a look at the beautiful prize that's up for grabs for a lucky participant of the sketch contest? Feast your eyes on this...
The contest deadline isn't until next Saturday (April 14th) so you still have plenty of time to play along. You can find the sketch and all of the contest details on the My Creative Sketches blog.
