Hey everyone! This week I had the privilege and thrill of attending Summer CHA. I still can't believe it was right here in Las Vegas and just a quick 20 minute drive from my house.
I thought it'd be fun to share a few photos from the show. These are unedited mobile phone pics and while the quality isn't too good, the memories are wonderful.
I was so excited to meet the fabulous Teresa Collins. I'm such a big fan- of her and of her products. She was so friendly and down to earth. A really beautiful person. I was even fortunate enough to do her make and take with her.
Brandon O'Neill has got to be one of the sweetest and cutest women on the planet. Totally down to earth and a joy to talk to. What an amazing smile she has!
It was fun to meet Heidi Swapp and watch her demonstrate her products. It was so kind of her to pause and let me snap a photo.
Madison was super friendly and had such an enthusiastic energy about him. His personality really lit up the Echo Park booth.
Of course I was a bit mesmerized to see Tim Holtz for the first time and to be able to stand within arm's reach watching him demonstrate his products.
I am over the moon thrilled for my dear friend Delaina Burns for being
selected for the Prima design team. Well, of course she was chosen,
she's amazing!! So the very first thing I did when the show floor opened
at 9:00 was head directly to the Prima booth to see Delaina's gorgeous projects. She had several layouts, a pillow, a tray, and more prominently displayed in the booth- I was so excited for her. I stuck my giddy head in front of several of her projects and took photos of myself with them such as the one above. That was a lot of fun for me.
I'm surprised the Prima booth crew didn't insist on charging me rent for all of the time I spent in and around their booth. Cari Fennell and Sharon Laakkonen were really nice. I must have went back there a dozen or more times, and could have stayed there for hours soaking up all of that gorgeous stuff. It was a real joy to meet Kelly Foster and Erin Blegen outside of the booth.
I took tons of photos of favorite products and such, but I won't bore you with those as you can see good photos of everything on the manufacturers' sites. But here are some of the lines that are at the top of my wish list:
Teresa Collins Memorabilia
Teresa Collins Family Stories
Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Flea Market
BoBunny The Avenues
My Minds Eye Cut & Paste
Pebbles From Me to You
Pebbles Front Porch
Carta Bella Hello Again
WRMK Chalkboard
Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party
also, lots and lots and lots of Prima of course :)
Well, I hope you enjoyed these quick photos of my CHA experience. One of the best things about being there was seeing some favorite designers' projects in person and to be able to study details that cannot be easily seen in online photos. I had plenty of A-Ha moments, where I said, "ohhhhhhhhh that's how they did that", as well as lots of thoughts of, "wow! Look at all of that dimension!!"
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Next week I will have sneak peeks to share of the August My Creative Scrapbook kits :) And, I happen to know that lots and lots of the new CHA products that we love will be in the upcoming MCS kits!
